Free sound enhancement to twist your music and recording


Swifturn Free Audio Editor is a visual music editor for Windows, which allows you to edit music, voice and other audio recordings. You can do all basic edit operation like cut, copy and paste parts of music and, if required, add effects like echo, fade in, fade out, amplification, noise reduction, etc. to the audio file. This excellent audio editing program helps you get more customized music for your PC or audio CDs and share them with friends.

Step 1. Add an Audio File

Launch Swifturn Free Audio Editor. Click "Open" (1) and a browser window pops up. You can choose an audio file of supported format from your computer (2). Then, click "Open" (3) to input the audio file to program. (You can add more than one audio file to the task window to edit.)

Step 2. Select a Region

The waveform of the file can be viewed now. Select a part of the waveform (1) to edit. There are 5 ways to select a region: click anywhere of the waveform as a starting point and choose "Select to Start" or "Select to End" from the dropdown menu of the "Edit" to select the region of the file; click the left button and drag along with the waveform to the place wanted to be selected; specify the start & end of the section by dragging the sliders below the waveform window; activate the selection tool at the bottom of the editor to input the specific time to choose a region; click "Select All" in the dropdown menu of the "Select" to select the entire file.

Step 3. Edit the Selected Waveform

Now you can perform some editing operations (1) to the selection by clicking the buttons of cut, copy, paste, crop, delete, etc. Unlimited Undo & Redo are provided for all operations if some mistakes are made during the editing.

Step 4. Add Audio Effects

The provided audio effects includes echo, vibrato, fade in, fade out, chorus, amplify and so on. To add them, you just need to select the appropriate one from the dropdown menu of "Effect" (1). You can also click the effect buttons to apply them (2). The settings window of corresponding effect will be activated. Specify detailed parameters or apply some popular presets to adjust the effect (3). Click "Preview" to listen to the music before adding the effects to the waveform to make sure you get exactly what you want. Click "OK" (4) to add the effect.

Step 5. Save the Changes

Go back to "Home" (1) tab and click "Save" to save the changes (2). "Save File..." is to save the changes to the original file while "Save File As..." is to save the changes with a different file name and/or location. Various output formats are provided in the menu. Before you output the file, a window will pop up in which you can choose the preset quality or specify the configuration parameters of the output format. Now, have great fun with edited music on your music player!
